Minister of Information Participates in Session Titled "Media Ministers and Leaders Envision the Future"

Minister of Information Dr. Khaled Zaarour participated in a session titled "Media Ministers and Leaders Envision the Future," held as part of the final day of the Future of Media Forum in Amman, Jordan. The session addressed the future of Arab media, the challenges it faces, ways to enhance media cooperation, and how to keep pace with digital transformations.

The Minister discussed the current state of state-run media in Syria and its role in conveying the truth and information to the public, emphasizing the importance of media freedom and the need to strengthen public trust in state media.

He also outlined the Ministry of Information’s efforts to advance media operations, noting the establishment of a specialized media directorate, the promotion of media diversity, and the expansion of specialized fields within the media sector.
