The Ministers of Information and Social Affairs and Labor affirm the integration of efforts

In an effort to enhance coordination and partnership between the two ministries, Minister of Information Dr. Khaled Zarour met with Minister of Social Affairs and Labor Hind Qabawat. They discussed cooperation mechanisms to support social and developmental issues, explore ways to integrate their respective roles to build community awareness that fosters development, and strengthen social protection for the most vulnerable groups.

Both ministers emphasized the importance of developing unified media messages that serve the programs implemented by the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor. This particularly applies to initiatives aimed at combating begging and child labor, reducing unemployment, and addressing domestic violence, in addition to promoting social protection programs, women's empowerment, and the rights of persons with disabilities.

Furthermore, they stressed the importance of exchanging data and statistics between the two ministries to monitor negative social phenomena and address them through targeted media campaigns. They also highlighted the need to allocate dedicated segments across national media platforms to address pressing social issues and showcase success stories of economic empowerment and social entrepreneurship projects.
