Minister of Information Meets with the Governor of Al-Hasakah to Discuss the Media Landscape

Minister of Information Dr. Khaled Zarour accompanied by his Deputy for Press and Government Media Affairs, Mr. Obada Kojan—met with the Governor of Al-Hasakah, Mr. Nour al-Din Ahmed Issa, and his deputy, Mr. Ahmed al-Hilali.

The participants discussed the state of media in the governorate, as well as ways to develop it and strengthen its presence. They emphasized that media serves as an integral component of the national unification process, while remaining mindful of the region’s diversity and unique social characteristics.

Both sides underscored the importance of cooperation and coordination among relevant authorities, and the need to bolster joint media efforts. The goal is to ensure professional media coverage that accurately reflects the reality and diversity of the governorate, while supporting the path toward national unity.
