The Minister's Participation in the Shusha Global Media Forum in the Republic of Azerbaijan

As part of his participation in the Shusha Global Media Forum in the Republic of Azerbaijan, Minister of Information Dr. Khaled Zarour accepted an invitation from Mr. Hikmet Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan and Head of the Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration, to hold a dialogue session exploring prospects for cooperation in the media and information sector.

The Minister praised Baku's supportive stances regarding Syria's unity and territorial integrity. In turn, Mr. Hajiyev expressed his appreciation for the Minister of Information's participation in the Shusha Forum, extending an invitation to him to attend the Information Ministers' meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), scheduled to be held in Azerbaijan next year.

The meeting was also attended by the Deputy Minister of Information, Mr. Mohammad Tafran, and the Director of International Cooperation at the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA), Mahmoud Al-Haji Othman.
